Can anyone recommend a UK retailer for Infinity miniatures?
I currently have orders with two separate retailers and both have been awaiting stock for weeks.

Hi, obviously i'm a reader with 0 feedback but thought i'd post anyway.
I had the same frustration as you did with various of the "big" online retailers not having accurate stock tracking, as i was already running an online store (Basecrafts - http://www.basecrafts.com) that specialises in basing materials, i decided to expand into miniatures.
Our local gaming group in Leeds is playing Infinity more and more and about to start a slow grow, so it made sense to stock that as our first range.
We have a simple policy, we only show stuff in-stock on the store, the store doesnt allow you to add more that we have to the cart, and we dont take back-orders. Instead we just restock on a weekly basis whatever we've sold.
We have the whole infinity range in stock, so feel free to give us a try - http://www.valiantwargames.co.uk
If you are reluctant to order from a new store (i dont blame you) then do some searches for Basecrafts (our other store) and you'll find that we have a very good rep on quality, speed, reliability.

If you only knew what your username means in Dutch Google is a wonderful thing.... I will second Shae, he does good deals, good prices, and excellent service. Which 2 retailers have you tried btw? (if you dont mind me asking) Maelstrom is normally decent AFAIK (maybe a bit slow, but otherwise..), Wayland is another good bet (also, go through the ad bar and get a special Dakka discount! ), havent looked nto others too much yet tbh, Shae was great for getting the books, and i am making a miniatures order very soon with him... Also, 3000 posts, woo... MASSIVE EDITS: Stupid new quote system missing the /quote....

(That bit above is TBD! Not sure what is happening to the quote system..)
I shouldn't laugh but...
I'm guessing was meant to be short for Strontium Dog perhaps? (famous 2000AD character)
I've bought mostly from Wayland and Maelstrom to be honest, and although I've heard of others having issues I guess I have always been lucky.
A chap called IJW on this forum trades as well, he's done a hell of a lot for the Infinity community here in the UK and I would definitely recommend him:

Ah, yes. See what you mean. Been using than online name for years and that's the first time it's been mentioned. Automatically Appended Next Post: Valiant wrote:

Tried out Valiant and found them to be excellent for Infinity miniatures: Discounted prices, next day delivery, they even threw in a sample of their modelling leaves and a D20.
Definitely recommended.

I'd just like to back up what Stront has said about Valiant Wargames, absolutely superb service, next day delivery with freebie leaf litter and D20.
