Subject: Modest Magic- New Sci-fi modular walls designed for Infinity.
Nick over at Modest Magic makes modular pieces for terrain. Basically think of it as legos for wargaming adults lol. The amount of structures and ways you could assemble this stuff is mindboggling and as new pieces come out it'll just get better and better. I will have some coming in from the kickstarter and will provide a full review when I get it in for those that are curious.

Subject: Modest Magic. Modular Terrain and Custom Commisions.
The main questions is this; now that its built, what do we do with it? I've put a poll up on this thread because I would love to get your feedback. Let me know what you think.

Subject: Re:Modest Magic. The Demon Cliffs project
The Modest Magic store is now live! Come on over to modestmagic.com and check it out! We also have a new forum that is just getting up and running and I would love to see you there.
Modest Magic would like to announce our newest product, the Alien Civilization Type 1 or ACT1 as we call it. This terrain is as user friendly as it is table dominating. The set is made from 1/2 inch Extruded Polystyrene foam and comes in foam "sprues" The product comes with instructions for assembly as well as links to assembly videos. This product was designed by Terrainaholic and he has uploaded a slew of videos to his youtube channel in order to support our customers with "how to's" on things like painting, battle damage, and even how to add armor plating. You can find his channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/terrainaholic/videos?flow=grid&view=0
Yes yours will be shipping this week. I saw the other thread but I wanted to kind of consolidate everything over here. I'm always worried about breaking any forum rules so I hope I haven't.
Can't wait to see some pics of the set with your league playing on it! Exciting times! Also I will have a pretty cool video up on youtube today regarding the castles and kits stuff. I learned how to paint! (well, a little)

I eat thunder for breakfast and excrete lightning for lunch! :-) Or something like that....
Thanks to you and everyone else for the good critiques and feedback on the site. Backer video update going up today as well as a you tube vid on my channel nickwhitney. I'm going to try really hard to do a video a day from here on out. Wish me luck!

I figured I would pass this along since there was several people worried about the durability of this stuff because it's pink foam. I just got a batch in last night to show it off for Modest Magic at feast of blades (part of my backer set that they tried to rush out for this) and I'm really really impressed with this stuff. Every single pieces is cut so amazingly perfect and the stuff is not going to break unless you are really trying. This is such a plus because since it is pink foam it's really easy to modify yourself, but it's durable enough, thanks to the precision cuts/engraving, that it's stand up to gamer abuse.
Here is a very spur of the moment video with my iPhone of me taking some of the wall pieces off the "sprue" and then me breaking a piece on purpose. Note that while it doesn't look like it, because I was trying to hold the camera still, I really had to put some force behind breaking that piece.

Automatically Appended Next Post: Just to clarify, I am not a spokes person for Modest Magic in the slightest, but I am a HUGE fan of the terrain. Did a maiden test run of the modular terrain with Infinity tonight and it surpassed all my hopes. It was really fun to build the board and played flawlessly as a catacomb type dungeon board.
The most mind blowing part is that is a VERY well playable Infinity board for $40
http://modestmagic.com/store 4 sets of Single Wall Piece (Qty 30) - $7.50 per set
1 set of Doorway Piece (Qty 10) - $2.50 per set
1 set of Battlement Piece (Qty 25) - $7.50 per set
$40 dollars is the same cost as some single buildings for infinity!!! If you are just getting into Infinity and need good terrain, gogogogogo.

I received the tracking number for my ACT1 terrain sets today!!
Will post plenty of pics once it's together . I'm handing it off to our local "terrain guy" on Wednesday, assuming it comes in by then, and will hopefully be having a few "terrain building" days to get it all together in time for our league's start date of a month or so from now
Man, that alien terrain is really sweet for the price.
And yeah, although it wouldn't fit with most Infinity themes, it does work for Tohaa and possibly also Morats (who like spikey things a lot).
Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
