Yes! I was in love with cannon fodder to a HUGE extent back in the day....
Saw it on Steam last night, resisted because it was £15.....hopefully it wil be on a midweek madness sale or something because my nostalgia meter took a massive hit last night....

Lots of fun elements, it's like Cannon Fodder with a fair bit of polish on it.
Lots more variation in missions (Escorting Journalists for example). The character models are US late 90's Military and the Enemy all look like Cuban's carrying AK47's/74's.
Graphics are nice, sounds are funny if a bit cutesy, will probably grate in a few weeks. Grenades and Explosions are good, no silly doors or Roof sections killing you. Air Dropped Supply crates is great, gaining Command Points so you can air drop in supplies. Lots of Setup options before missions, buying upgrades and unlocking specialists to add to your team.
A few nods to Cannon Fodder - Every so Often a wounded soldier will do the lying on the ground going "OH" "Ah" "ARGH" "OH" just like in the good old days.
All round, not a bad little game (would like to see some 3rd Party Open source versions and mods) the Zombie element is intriguing so I am investigating how I get hold of that version. I would wait till it's on discount before buying.

Found it, Cannon fodder 3 on Steam for £15 (Tiny Troopers still £6/7....), oddly it doesnt have as goos a metascore as Tiny troopers, so i may get the latter for the nostalgia option (and cos it seems pretty good too)

I have always wanted a Special Forces game like this, but with the kind of top down view with a thermal camera. Like the Modern Warfare Game level. Inspired originally by the "Patriot Games" sequence when the SAS go to Libya to annex the IRA splinter group.
A good version of a Command style game, where the AI controls the firefights but you control the co-ordination and strategy would be very engaging, rather than a Realistic take of a Cartoon point and click shoot'em up.
Anyway, I do really like the style of your Game 3drobbo, little suggestions to make it awesome, look at the tracer physics of ricochets and the numbers of tracer and sparks that fly when the bullets strike hard surfaces. The tracers look too long, as they fly maybe shorter tracers with a proper colour glow, (say red for NATO).
Maybe look at a randomise so when they hit something they splay out (not causing damage) so it looks impressive but stops the whole shooting around corners or things accidentally.
I would love to see a really well put together Fire Team based game, with Squad Automatic Weapons and Real world tactics. I am watching this with interest.

Impressive, looks like a mix of DoW2 and Company Of Heroes with highlights from Cannon Fodder style point and click=blow stuff up as well...very impressed!
