A unique situation came up in my last game.

The situation is that a evil model is 2" away from the edge of the table. I have a wizard positioned in such a manner that if I were to use sourcerous blast that I would (with a roll of 2+) knock him off the table. Am I correct in thinking that this could not happen and that the model would be stopped 1" from the edge? The only reason this came up is because the Mumakil was on the board and with the stampede rule it can run off the board if the good player chooses to do so, leading to the point that models can be moved off the table by other players.

Thoughts Dakka people?

Absolutely. Orks are all fun and games, until you look at it from the point of view of the agri-world farmer who is forced to watch as a mob of pillaging Orks uses his still-living children as footballs and handy bite-size snacks, then rpoceed to hack up his wife to see if whatever it is that's making that screaming sound can be added to the mob's trukk for a cool siren-effect...

I'm not sure on this, but I'd love for my Spectres to send riders off of the board!

Well I've always played it as being able to knock someone off of the board with sorcerous blast, I find it rather humerous.

I have had this issue come up before in a tournie at my store. It was a GW store and the manager said that once a model would be forced off the table that unit is assumed to be dead. So the mumakil would be killed if he was driven off the table by the other player. So keep your mumak away from the edges because enough arrows and that beast will go through your lines and off the table.

I think it can go off the board.

Models are not allowed to move or be moved off the gaming table unless the scenario specifically states they can in a special rule.

Look under the movement section in the rule book.
