Like the title states, this will be an attempt at continuing my Pre-Heresy Imperial Fist army. The object of this army is just to be a small 1000-1250 point army just to have fun with. With the future release of the FW Heresy books sort of re sparked the flame for my IF army. I always wanted an IF army, and now more than ever is a great chance to try and capture the image of the Imperial Fists at the height of the Horus Heresy. Being led by their First Captain, Sigismund. Anyways enough about that, as I am sure you have already skipped ahead to look at the models so...Here ya go!

Some tips on painting yellow would be great! I realize I still need to clean up some of the washed areas on them, but I still feel like I am not happy how they are turning out.

Well, I have started painting up some more IF. But I also tried some weathering effects with my FW powder set. I haven't used them that much but I think they came out alright. Let me know what you think! BTW I am trying to go with a weathered beaten look on my models. I want to avoid the eye popping high lights and really keep them to a realistic medium.

Very nice Emperor's Champion! I'm not a fan of painting yellow on marines but your battle-worn scheme looks great! Looking forward to seeing the rest of their brethren.

Thanks! This yellow is turning out to be a lot harder than I thought. I am trying to not overload the mini with too much battle damage, but yet I don't want it to look too simple.

Thanks! My next objective is to finish the sergeant. Then perhaps work on Sigismund himself, but I am having a hard time really bringing the image of Sigismund to life in the pre heresy era.
