Mostly, on my phone.

Nice Kalyshi, they're fun on pitch though you really want that Captain/Guard in there.

She's in the queue, but I'm taking a break after all those mold lines and working on this month's Comp entry.

Now showing the Kalyshi team for Dreadball, and WIP on a Strider for Deadzone!

Painting total as of 5/6/2024: 49 plus a set of modular spaceship terrain

Painting total for 2023: 79 plus 28 Battlemechs and a Dragon-Balrog

The first Strider is finished:

It's kind of rough, what with my not being very experienced with vehicles. I'm happy with the heat burn on the flamer, though.

I have another one mostly cleaned up, along with the limited edition resin Rebs sniper I got in the first DZ kickstarter. More pics when I have something worth taking pics of.

Love seeing some DZ action. DEADZONE IS LIFE!

I do love me some Deadzone-- it's my second favorite game (after Frostgrave) of the last twenty years.

The movement system is so elegant. I can see why they ported it over to halo.

Big fan of the Strider. The treatment on the weapons is fantastic ( I do love heat stress) and the subdued color scheme works great.

Thanks! I did the heat stress using standard mini paints, rather than inks over metallics, and it turned out pretty well, IMO. The color scheme is one of my go-to's, based on my (dwindling) selection of craft paints, which I use for larger models.

Thanks! It didn't do so well in the Dakka Challenge voting, but it was up against some very, very nice models. I'm glad to have finished it though.

I don't think I have ever seen an issue of Citadel Journal, much less the one you reference. I can only assume the rules were weird and unbalanced, as everything outside of the core books were...
