So, started playing this yesterday and I have to say, it is absolutely fantastic.
It's a very unique game being a mix between
RTS, MOBA and bullethell shooters. It's free to play with your standard micro transaction shenanigens.
Also, you can play it in your browser if you want too, though the download is only like 10MB anyway.

For those who have no clue what this is heres a quick breakdown.
You play as an airmech(no gak), essentialy a transformer with all vehicle variants being some form of airplane, helicopter or even a flying saucer. While in air mode you can only attack air and while in ground mode you can only attack ground (abilities for different types not counting). It's a team game where both teams start with a single base, and like all MOBA's destroying this will win you the game. However, you can also construct units and buildings from this.
This is where the charm of this game comes in. Instead of creating units and giving them specific orders
RTS style, the built unit/building will not spawn untill you get to your base (or a captured outpost) once there, you have to pick it up in air mode and put it on the ground somewhere at which point you can also give it a single order which it will start carrying out (attack, capture etc.). So essentialy, once put down, unit AI takes over and you can carry on building stuff or going to the battles yourself.
Also in MOBA style, you level up in the game by building, capturing and destroying just about anything. Every mech variant has 1 unique ability and a few that are shared among them (as an example, the standard fighter gets homing
AA missiles).
In pregame you set up your load out of units/buildings and this is where microtransaction come in. You gain kudo points every time you play a game which can be spent on acquiring new units, buildings, skins, pilots, variants etc. The list is already quite big and looks to be growing at a steady pace.
So yeah, I'd say check it out and hope you like it.
I might actually do a video on this though I think I'll try my hand at adding some commentary to it so it will probably take me a few days to get it out there. Have to start somewhere right?
