Subject: Aegis Defense Line Quad Gun for Dark Eldar- 3 Wracks or 1 Beastmaster?
For Dark Eldar using a Quad Gun attachment in an Aegis Defense Line, do you think a 30 point, 3-model Wrack unit with BS 4, T 4, and FnP is a better candidate to man the gun or a cheap, 12 point, BS 4, T 3 Beastmaster could get the job done?
The 12 point beastmaster is a character, so he can get precision shots, but he will die to one bolt pistol.
I would say use a 5 man wrack squad with a liquifier. Yes it costs more but it is more survivable and it can flame anything that gets too close.
