I saw this game suggested on a different thread, and looked up the miniatures. It seems like an interesting game.

Anyone played it and want to comment?

You - You there, wolf heathen! I long for combat!
Wolf heathen - I accept your challenge, but only on my terms! 250% points for me!
You - Ha! You've activated my trap card! Allied army! Come forth to assist!
Friend - Sup
Wolf Heathen - An equal point match?! This is not acceptable! Tau friend! Form up on me!

And then some guy throws a manta at the table and promptly breaks it in half sending figures and terrain everywhere.

As someone affiliated with the game I'll tell you it's the most wonderful game ever. Not exactly an unbiased statement. Perhaps it would be better if you asked specific questions? Scale? Format? I can give you details.

The land of cotton.

I looked at SoTR a while back; have not had a chance to play as I can't find anyone in the Atlanta area with the game system to give me a run through.

West Wind makes minis for it and they have quite a line. I like the infantry models but the walkers are hit and miss for me. Given the lack of player base and cheap availability of Dust models, I went the Dust Warfare route instead.
