Well I'm up to my third box of Cygnar Long Gunners and I'm seeing an obvious trend in defects/excess flash on the models which is beyond repairable. Is this usual for this unit in particular?

The worst areas seem to be the shoulders and the gap between the body and the gun. I've had them replaced twice but they're still not up to scratch in any way apart from the odd 1-3 in the box which are passable after some work.

Send em back to PP. They should fix your problem in short order.

I havn't had a bad cast yet, and I hear their replacement policy is good.

The main problem is that I purchased this initially from Wayland games. The replacement time is quote substantial seeing as I then have to England from Australia and then have to wait for the package. Unless PP is willing to take take over, I'm stuck sorting through bad casts with about 3 week gap for sending and receiving.

The unit sounds defective. I've had two long gunner units in the past and neither was remarkable in it's quality, good or bad.

I've had a few problems with models from PP but the fix the issue relatively quickly and professionally. I think most of their issues come down to the way they package them. Its like the old clamshells GW used to pack metal SM in.

Do not bother trying to get the retailer involved. PP will gladly do all its replacements inhouse.

Okay, well at least now I know I can get items replaced in the future. Sending it back to retailer for a refund and just bits ordering the units from PP, at least then I don't have superfluous models I don't want/need.

The main issue with these models is that their detail is very shallow, which isn't a bad thing - that is if it's a good cast. Mold Lines, deforming and excess flash haven't really appeared on a few of the other units I have (croe's cutthroats) but they're really prevalent on this particular set (probably also because they're single-part figures).
