I realize its right before the holidays, and expect a lower turnout because of it, but we would love to see people come by.

Can't make this one but keep 'em coming. I'll be free in the spring to make it to one of these in CHO.

There is a place beneath those ancient ruins in the moor…

Yeah I knew that this one was going to be iffy, given its just a couple of days before Chirstmas, but rather get a voice out there and see what yells back.

As someone who attended a tourney at End Game within the past few months, I'd suggest working on the timing of these things. That last one was super close to Thanksgiving. This one is super close to Christmas. You will get a better turnout if you pick weekends that don't fall during major travel times. For instance, Saturday, January 5th is a day after all of the holiday madness. Might have worked better.

Just my two cents. I appreciate the work that goes into setting these up, but if you want to get more people there to play (and spend money), then I'd advise different dates.

2nd Place 2015 ATC--Team 48
6th Place 2014 ATC--team Ziggy Wardust and the Hammers from Mars
3rd Place 2013 ATC--team Quality Control
7-1 at 2013 Nova Open (winner of bracket 4)

If I wasn't running an apoc game I might be there.

But then I saw that every deployment was longways. Are you trying to keep people from wanting to attend?

Ease of terrain placement I presume.

@JGrand: We compete for MTG and Fantasy for the other weekend slots, and those two usually get priority due to bias from the store owners. So 40K is usually left with the third/fourth Saturday of every month.

@juraigamer: I honestly couldn't tell you. I do not organize or run our tournaments, just post them online to try and see if anyone else would like to stop in for the tournament. While we have a decent crowd more is always preferable, especially new people who we don't play on a regular basis. I can hazard a guess on why the deployment type. The organizer usually does a theme to the tournaments and I would imagine did so here. What that theme is again I couldn't even begin to tell you.
