I recently moved and lost a good portion of my wd collection (about 5 years worth of issues!) and I was wondering if there was a place where I could find lotr article online. cause lets face it new white dwarf my have nice pictures but it doesnt have the scenerios, unoffical rules, and painting/converting/terrain building articles. Specifically I need the chain of articles that incluede a campaign about the misty mountians and with the hobbit giving more models form that area now seem like a good idea to run it with my friends. I forgot what it was called. but a lot of good new rules and terrain projects went a long with it. I any one has that specific articale I'd take it off your hands for a bit of currency. But if you know where to find ANY old lotr white dwarf article online can someone link it to me!

I have a friend who had a 3 year subscription to White Dwarf. My favorite articles were 3 parts of a series explaining the use of infantry, calvary, and monsters in one's army.

I suggest Scribd.

WD 300 had some fantastic alternate Harad rules but that is all I remember :S

That's dead as far as I am aware.
They went bonkers about legal issues and cleaned the whole site of anything that had copyright of sorts.

I used to have the actual lord of the ring magazines, the dirt cheap ones that also gave you models with it ! Was young at the time, lost most of them now.

I think i have those issues somewhere, but i take it your in the US? If i can find them and dig them out i can see if i can
put them to pdf and send them to you? If they are the ones i'm thinking of, obviously

Definitely not dead. And definitely not bereft of GW material either.

To the OP, do you have any idea what issues these articles were in?
