What's goin on everybody,

I've been working on a csm list. I currently have an idea of running a helbrute, 3 Mon Termies (paxe, pfist, chainfist,) and 5 plague marines in a group straight into the enemy. While a maulerfiend and forgefiend (x3 plasma) charge one after the other up the other side of the table. I've got two drakes, one with autocannon one with baleflamer. I like the mix, makes enemies pick one or the other or split fire at both. All this is backed by typhus, 20 cultists and 5 havocs (2Acannons, 2 Mlaunchers) All this comes to 1505, we play 1500 pts at most.

I know I'm light on troops, I do not care. Objectives never matter for me when I play. Go big or go home I guess, anyway does this all seem like a good group to run together? Specifically running the brute, termies, plagues, into the face of the enemy while the mauler and forgefiend charge on the opposite side of the table. I have yet to get a chance to run these groups like this and want some ideas on issues/what could work better.

O and DO NOT suggest I run 15 bikers instead, I own all of these models and will not be spending anymore money on new stuff for this army for a while

If you really want to rush them, then run dual maulerfiends instead of a forgefiend for extra speed.

Beyond that just remember that you can deep strike your termies if the enemy is very far off and don't forget you can attach typhus to them to get him closer, faster.

As a note, 5 plague marines probably won't make it to the enemy and would be better holding an objective on your side, as for the cultists just stick to cover and you should be ok, make sure they are nurgle marked!

Honestly, yeah, as said above, if want a charging army, you can go dual Maulerfiends, and up those plague marines to 6, tho ideally 7.

I would personally suggest you drop the Hellbrute, up those Plague Marines to 7 + 2 Plasma rifles, and upgrade those Maulerfiends to Forgefiends. This will give you a really capable shooting list.

As for running the original list, as the previous poster said, it's probably a better idea to just have the plague marines minding the home objective while the cultists advance with Typhus. Cultists make for excellent bodyguards/walking wounds. The other bits are pretty easy to use.
