Being able to run my beloved Nurgle CSM with the Daemons Tally has breathed new life into 40K for me. My list is very fun and competitive to a degree I am happy with.

Since all good things must come to an end, my question is this; will GW bone Epidemius' Tally as it applies to allies in the next Daemon dex?

Specifically, will they make it so 1. Tally only works on Daemons, 2. Everything stays the same or 3. Unforseen change...

I should hope they do put a stop to it, since they have already ruined other interactions between allies and main armies that are much less abusive, such as using an Autarch to help get Dark Eldar Flyers on the board.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

I'd rather it stays, maybe more restrictions on what you get, and what powers are being given but otherwise I don't think it's over powered.

The biggest indicator someone is a loser is them complaining about 3d printers or piracy.

It would seem fair to get rid of it since they did put a stop to all other ally interactions of a similar nature. Honestly, the whole list seems does not seem overpowered to me. Getting 1 model on the table out of reserves and keeping it there can be rather difficult to do, depending on terrain, who you are playing, and what kind of list they are running.

That combo should stay, as regardless of its power level, it is exactly what GW strove towards: a fluffy allies combo. This one just has the added benefit of being strong. What I don't understand though is keeping that and nerfing Fateweaver. Wtf.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

If the Tally still does effect Mark of Nurgle CSM units, then I'd wager eating my hat that the chart will drastically change. For example, if they keep the "all attacks from followers of Nurgle ignore armour saves" ability, I'd be willing to bet that it will only apply in assaults and not the shooting phase as well.
I can also forsee the end of 3+ FnP as well for obvious reasons, and/or perhaps requiring more enemy kills to hit each new ability on the chart.

It most definately will NOT! stay exactly as it is right now! There's too many armies that simply don't have the abilties to deal with T5/3+/3++ save Troops effectively. Heck, most armies can't spam S10 to deny the FnP rolls, so yeah, no way the chart remains untouched!

I can understand opponents being highly fustrated with Tally lists right now, since it's dead easy to design a CSM list w/Epi as an ally that can viably hit the 20+ kills mark within a single turn... There's really nothing fun about facing an entire army when you're reduced to basically specials/heavies as the only viable way to hurt them after just a turn and a half.

Nurgle marked CSM are way more powerful than anything in the daemon codex. There is no way the tally will stay. Much like lash, it was fun while it lasted.

To be fair, the only other group whose powers work on another is SoB with the IG, with one faith power..
