6 years ago as a goofy fun side project I put together an Angry Marine that was covered head to toe in purity seals. Armed with dual power fists and swinging dual power shovels, he delighted friends and fellow 40k players alike. With so many primaris models being released, and me wanting a break from the stuff I've been working on, I decided the time has come for Puritous Sealious to be reborn! Currently I plan on using the primaris chaplain as the base. I'm debating on whether or not to stay with dual power fists/power shovels or trying to have him swinging guardsmen/regular marines like a flail. I haven't keep an eye on the primaris range but hopefully I can get 2 primaris power fists, plenty of purity seals, and with better painting skills I can do him proper justice. I got to do a bit of work on Puritous Sealious tonight. I used the new Primaris Chaplain from the Indomitus box set as a base. I had some old space marine power fists I was able to chop up and file down. I clipped the Chaplain's hand off just after the elbow and attached it with green stuff. I then clipped the handle of the Chaplain's crozious into 2 parts and used green stuff to stick it in the palm of the power fist then used plastic glue to attach the shovel head on top of the handle. I'll be using a helmeted head just because I like the look a bit better. For the base I was thinking of clipping off the bit of rocks his left leg and have him standing on one of the old space marine casualty models I found in my bits box(painted as a pretty marine of course). I asked players from the local shop for any purity seals they could spare, but haven't gotten any yet. I'll be there this coming weekend so hopefully some will be waiting for me. I'll try and get some more work done on him tomorrow when the green stuff dries.

Got a little more work done tonight. Assembled the chest and head to the body. The green stuff on the left power fist didn't take so I had to scrape it off and just used some plastic glue to reattach it. I clipped the bit of stuff off the bottom of the foot. A 40mm base didn't fit what I wanted to do so I found a 60mm that I had laying around that already had some cork glued to it. I grabbed my space marine casualty glued it to the base. It looked a little bare so I put a sandbag and a guardsmen's helmet from the Astra Militarum heavy weapons team kit on the base. I pinned Puritous Sealious to the base with a foot standing on the hand of the casualty.

I love it so far. Stuff like this just makes the game more fun.

This weekend I got a handful of purity seals for a local gamer. Not enough though lol. If anyone wants to donate purity seals PM me. I clipped up a CSM terminator lord cape and glued it to the book on the chaplain hip. When covered it will give it more of the "ghili suit look". What do you guys think so far?

Thanks to a generous donation of purity seals from brushcommando I was able to continue adding to Puritious Sealious.

Reminds me of cousin IT from the Addams family , so I heartily approve .

He's looking... well protected Let me know if you need more seals. I would have to clip them, but I just finished putting together a battle company's worth of marines, so I have more to spare.

Alright, I’ll get my box of sprues back out and get cuttin...

So I ran out of purity seals for a bit, and started converting a warhound titan.......but I found some purity seals! I still need 2 back banners and think he'll be ready to prime and paint.

I've just seen this thread and would love to contribute to the saga of Puritous. I've taken a picture of some banners that might be appropriate that I would gladly donate to the cause. I also have a selection of Space Wolf banners, but I'm not sure they're angry enough.

If you need purity seals, I'd be happy to send some along as well.
