Recently picked up retribution and have been enjoying it. Some lingering questions though, since our group has only 1 rarely seen long time player.
Do all infantry have the charge and run orders? I can't find reference for this in the main rulebook.
When taking a theme list, does adding a merc break the theme if the merc isn't listed as part of the theme, but is still a faction model? I assume yes, but just making sure.
When running with a unit that has +X to speed, is the bonus factored in after of before doubling movement?
Thanks.

Yes. You'll find the references to this in the "Issuing Orders" section. Run and Charge (and Ride By for cavalry units only), are all basic orders that all units have.

Yes. Theme lists are restricted to the models described in them. Every other model will break the list regardless of its origin.

Thanks.
If the +X is specifically to SPD then you add it and then double the result.
If the +X is to MOVEMENT you double the SPD and then add the +X.

Although Charge and Run are orders only for units that don't use Focus/Fury to do it.
A Warjack that charges hasn't undergone an Order. So abilities/spells that prevent Orders from being recieved will not stop a Warjack from charging with a Focus point(Or anything that lets it charge for free)

Warjacks aren't units.

Thank you guys.
One final thing, how does combined attacks and model by model bonuses work?
For example, if a unit charged and says it has brutal charge, so +2 to attack damage rolls, does this happen once on a combined melee swing or X times, where X is equal to the number of models doing a combined attack?
Furthermore, if another separate ability provides +2 to attack and damage rolls, what happens for a combined melee thing. Thanks.

Its applied to each attack.
CMA(or CRA) means one model is forfieting its attack to give another model +1 to its attack and damage rolls.
So Brutal Charge plus a CRA with 2 models helping the attacking model would be a total of +4 on the attack roll.
So say I had a unit charging a Warjack. I decide to do one big CMA. I get 5 guys in total in on the attack.
The guy making the attack itself will have +4 on his attack and damage rolls, one for each guy helping him in the CMA.
Then suppose I had cast a spell that gave me +3 to damage rolls.
The attack would have a total of +4 to the attack roll and +7 to the damage roll.

+5 actually. the guy making the attack adds +1 to the total too. 2 guys CMAing is +2 for example.

He does?
I could swear that combined attacks don't add the guy actually doing the shooting.
