Hey guys,

A while ago I built a mini "Defiler"-esque Walker to count as a Psyrifle Dread using a few Defile legs and a AT-43 walker chassis. Recently I tried out running it as a Forgefiend and was very underwhelmed. Right now though, I'd like to use it as a Maulerfiend but the model looks much more like a walking weapons platform than it does an assault machine. Here is what it looks like right now with the weapons and some details removed:

I got myself a pair of Mauler arms and a pair of Magma cutters. I have placed the Magma cutters where my Autocannons used to be and I really like how they look. I just can't figure out what to do about the arms though. I have two options for arm placement, with the third option being that this model just wouldn't look good as a Maulerfiend. Here is option number one, with the Mauler arms on the front of the AT-43 chassis:

The alternative is to place the arms much lower on the body frame of the Walker, the same area that the three legs come from. Here's what that looks like:

I had much rather field the Maulerfiend over the Forgefiend based on both role, points and performance, but I don't want to make a bad model. I have been told that option one could turn out looking good but I wanted to get some broader comments and criticisms! Thanks for any and either, folks!

I really like it!

It almost resembles a scorpion/mantis, making it cooler!

Thanks! Would you suggest the upper arms or the lower arms?

I'd go with the upper arms personally, it seems a little more balanced out that way. Plus i can easily see some poor guardsman screaming in terror as it charges at him..

Oh stop complaining, its for the greater good... Now get in the box!

I like the first option. From the front it kinda seems like an evil wraithlord.
