Non of my numerous Necron vehicles have pilots, becouse a) I think they look better without them and b) I don't think they make sense fluff-wise, they can build canoptek creatures with AIs, why would they not make vehicles like them as well? Pictures of my previous conversions can be found in a previous thread. All those were very simple. One of the reasons I didn't get a Triarch Stalker when it was released was that I didn't know how to build it without the pilot. However, I recently acquired a used (built but unpainted) stalker, and decided to try some things with it. After some trial and error here's what happened:

Really nice one Allthough i would have made the head a bit bigger, possibly adding some of the spare armor plates to it. Why not consider a blast shield for the gun?

The model is now finished. Simple "wash + edge highlights" theme like all my necron vehicles.

Nice conversion, it looks much better now that it's painted.
