A quick question for those who have experience using the Army Painter ink washes (dark tone, strong tone): Do you use them right out of the bottle or water them down? and if you water them down, how much?

I use mine right out of the bottle, and they seem to work pretty good.

If you are on the about the Dark tone Strong dips then straight out of the pot, or even straight in the pot. They do leave a glossy finish, so you'd need some matte spray

I use the ink washes, and love them.
(completely different product than the dips).

Most of the time I use them without dilution, but if there is a model I want a much more "mild" treatment, I might mix them a bit with water.

Also, I can't recall which is which, but they are almost perfect matches for the former devlan mud, and gryphone sepia.

best of luck!
