Hi,

Trying to add some flare to my Imperial fists.

I've just started swaping out sargeant helms for greyknight helms to add a little fuedal era flavor to the army.

I ran out, so I humbly ask dakka dakka for help.

So what would you put on the sargeants? IYHO what is the coolest/ most epic helms in the GW line?

Or something I could sculpt.

Plz include pics or links if its cool.

For one-off helmets I really like the puppetwars Spartans, they really add a unique touch to a mini.

They are not 'GW line' as such but useable with them, designed for them and you can still play in a GW store with a model that has one.

My vote goes for the Corvus Power Armor, aka Bird-Helm. Mostly because to me, the others look odd... Except maybe the Iron/GK helmets. Those look good.

I think the guy on the right, here, is awesome, simple design with just a little chapter iconography added. If so inclined, you could use these and justify the scorpion iconography by saying a sergeant has to go and kill a giant scorpion fromthe blah blah whatever plains...

Sevrin Loths Honour Guard, from Forgeworld. I do think the GK helmets will be a much easier (and more readily available) option for you though

If you're up for sculpting something though, check out the helmets on the SoB (bottom left of this pic) - they're pretty cool and would be unique in a SM force

Personal vote goes to MK VIII 'Errant' helm, but not because of the helm. The raised-collar look gives it a superior feel that I like. Second place goes to beakie marines. Third and fourth place aren't technically helmets, but bare heads.

Best looking head in the Imperium. (Personally, I went with grey hair and a more Phantom-esque bone color for the mask) Great for someone you want to stick out.

The last one is one of the Chaos Marine heads. I can't find a picture, but it looks like a bare head, with just the breather apparatus on. Very sinister looking.

Imo the best helmets are found in the Eldar/Dark Eldar mini lines. Personally I think the Incubi helmets are both unique and badass.
