Well the one major improvement i'd recommend would be to rotate your photo so its the right way up.
2nd. Your bases aren't finished so these really don't belong in showcase.

Other then that, they look pretty good from what i can tell.

More Purity Seals, some scrolls, maybe paint a few armour parts slightly different, some other kind of honour markings, some modelled laurels or something.
I'm not saying put all of those on, even just one would make them pop a bit more, just to make them stand out from the crowd. And a rotated picture.
Look good though, just a little rank and file.

The big thing about sternguard is that they need to stand out above the tactical marines. The gold helmets do this with paint, but it's also a good excuse to empty out your bits-box of pouches, purity seals, etc. In an ideal world, they would all have a crux termanus on them somewhere.

But they look pretty good.

Without picking up my laptop and flipping it upside down, it's kind of hard to tell

The combi-weapons help a little bit, but as far as their armor there isn't anything that sets them above the regular marines as far as I can tell.

Here is a picture of my attempt, which is still WIP.

I took the little wings that I don't really know where they go, and stuck them to the right shoulder pad of each one. I had some spare angelus boltguns laying around, so I chopped them up. I took the magazine/drum, clipped off the magazine from a their regular bolt guns, and stuck it to the side of the magazine well. Death company heads, the ones with the spikes on them, helped out quite a bit. I didn't want them looking too over the top, but I think I got it just right. Hope this helps you give you a better idea of some cool addons.

In my defence, the picture was uploaded the right way up and when I click on it, it's the right way up!

You're right, maybe I'll try and find more purity seals and bits to make their guns look better
