They look great, really nice and bright colours!

Will you have a go at painting your own soon?

I actually started on these and they looked horrid! So I had my buddy strip them and start all over.... I wanted my Yu Jing to be to a great standard. Not what I could do. I will eventually do my own Yu but for now I will be practicing on other formats (WH40k) but the issue with that is the EPIC size compared to Infinity. I just need to sit down and get some good lessons on painting as I do not own a single artistic bone in my body

You don't really need lessons. There's methods that produce perfectly good tabletop quality models. The most common is 'magic wash', which is what I use on my models.

Basically, block in all of the main colours you want, then use a good, dark general wash on the entire model. Something like the Army Painter Inks.

Then go back over and re-layer the raised areas with the original colour, then do an edge highlight with a lighter colour.

It's always better to do the painting yourself. If you're not happy, give them to your friend to strip, but they do them yourself again. You'll learn a lot more by doing than reading how.
