What is the best warlord trait to role on in the BRB? Right now, I think it is personal traits, because are all pretty good.

Depends on the role of your warlord, what's helpful to your particular army build, and what kind of terrain there is. If you have an assaulty/aggressive warlord, especially one who joins a squad, Personal can be particularly good, with the counter-attack and furious assault traits, the FNP within 3" of an objective trait, and the challenge trait. OTOH, if your warlord never joins a squad, then several of those traits lose value. If he's the kind who avoids challenges, the challenge one's useless. If you're playing Purge the Alien, the FNP within 3" of an objective trait is useless.

If you and/or your opponent use Reserves, and if there are Ruins on the table, Strategic can be excellent. Conqureror of Cities is absolutely amazing on a table with a lot of ruins, and pretty darn great even if there's only one or two, if those are well-placed.

If I'm up against any of the SM codices, I'm likely to rolll on the Chaos one with my Chaos army. Just the chance of Preferred Enemy: Space Marines in a 12" radius from my Warlord is awesome.

Yeah, he summed it all up pretty well.

Personal traits are only helpful for warlords that are gonna charge straight toward the enemy most of the time. As opposed to Big Mek armies or SOB who tend to like Strategic traits instead.

Command is for armies that need a field boost. Personal is for warlords likely to see CC/frontlines. Stragetic is dependent on the field/ the lists each player brings.

As for me, with my eldar I go personal/command, and for my tau I always go command.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

My gaurd is always strategic my deldar is strategic if running a hamie HQ or personal if running an Archon. My Orks are Personal if running a Warboss or Strategic if running a Big Mek. I'm not a huge fan of Command to be honest.

Command is great if you or your opponent have armies with (generally) low Leadership values.

Personal is great if your Warlord is a beatstick.

Strategic is a great TAC choice for most armies, as there's few results on there that are absolutely useless. Conqueror of Cities is awesome with any ruins on the board, choosing to use Night Fighting can really help some armies (and hurt others), modifying your opponent's reserve rolls is generally useful, etc.

I would like to concur with what many others have said, and also add that Command is nice for armies that often like to have multiple units within 12" of your Warlord.

heavily depends on the race as well as what the warlord is doing.
I know for me theres only 2 traits i want period as orks - 1 is Outflank rule for my warlord (nice when i was doing a MANz missile with a meganob boss) or scoring unit capability.
Technically i would use the additional points for characters killed in a challenge, but i almost always end up facing something much nastier than my warboss (damn mindshackle scarabs...)

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

I tend to go with Command, since Personal and Strategic both have entries that give my Wolves USRs they already have. For my IG, I tend to go with Command since I like the Leadership boost and the objective based buffs. For my Blood Angels, I'm fishing for the 1" of extra assault range in Command.

In short, all Command, all day.

I find that whether I'm playing necrons or my chaos strategic traits are simply the best of the 3 by a wide margin. They have extreme positives for your army and great potential negatives for your enemy.

If you've got access to the Chaos Space Marine traits, why would you ever take the basic rulebook ones? Admittledly, Fear is kind of worthless, but the others are decent and taking Huron or Ahriman gives you a fixed trait that is actually quite good.
