how dues TS sorcerer's work with getting mutations?
Why don't they get the same rule as the TS marines? (the ones you get as minions)

sorry to be a hassle its just the rules for TS sorcerers are not very clear on the Rubric Concept

Thanks in advance

TSons Marines are spirits locked within their armour. They don't have bodies to mutate.

TSons Sorcerers on the other hand have nice fleshy bodies just waiting to get all mutated.

ok, so what your saying is the rubric curse did not effect some of the thousand sons?

It didn't impact their sorcerers.

This reflects codex: chaos (at least 3.5) pretty well:

chosen, characters, and possessed with the mark of T were all sorcerers/autopass, with no inv. save stuff; regular thousand son squads were rubric marines (with sorc. champions), and there was some way to upgrade a rubric squad to terminators with no upgrades, IIRC.

In essence, every model in your army was:
-a daemon
-a rubric marine
-a vehicle (I forget what the old tzeentch vehicle upgrade was)
or
-a sorcerer
(also, you could still take spawn, hounds, and these weird little apprentice sorcerers who didn't have powers but you could kill 'em for extra casts... but, the point is marines are all rubric marines or sorcs)
