So, I'm curently just about finished making my first conversion ever - A Nurgle Sorcerer on Palanquin.
For this, I've used way more GS than I'm used to. It looks awesome (or at least, I think it does :-)), and I can't wait to begin the painting, but I dare not begin before the GS has hardened.

How long will this be?

Within 24 hours GS should be fully cured, but after 3-5 hours it will have hardened enough to paint delicately.

Sisters of Battle can be used in any game, with the exception of chess, Monopoly and of course, Warhammer 40,000.

After 8 editions, you might have thought that GW could get fantasy right.

24 hours is normally fine. Just leave the mini overnight and start working on it again at roughly the same time of day as you did before.

remember to clean it off before priming if you used any vaseline, etc. while modeling the GS. I forgot to do that the other day and had a whole section of paint peel right off

I used water for modelling the GS. I didn't even know vaseline was an option :-)

Vaseline (lip salv is actually better) is actually really good for sculpting, much better than water.

If you prime the model, green stuff should always take primer. If you try and handpaint over greenstuff when it is not dry, I know it will crack, but in my experience I've never seen primer crack or come off uncured greenstuff

Waiting for GS to dry is one of the most frustrating parts of modelling. I always leave mine for 24 hours or so, just because I worry about smooshing all my hard work.
