So i got my hands on some fenris wolves, I was going to use them as kroothounds.
But then i got an idea, I have to rules for the Kroot Knarloc riders. So i thought.
Wolf Calvary, With maybe tau firewarriors as a stand in for kroot.
But the problem is the fact that I don't know the base size for them.

The idea sounds very odd to me (Tau counting as Kroot, Kroot counting as Space Wolves), but anyway: Kroot Knarloc Riders have 60mm bases:

Darn, Those wolves would look silly on those.
Would calvarly bases be bad?
And how about just kroot riding the wolfs?

If you want Kroot counting as Space Wolves, just add a Kroot head to a Space Wolf miniature.
Cavalry bases would fit, if you want Thunderwolves counting as Fantasy Goblin Wolf riders.
Noone said that odd ideas wouldn't look odd

They arent space wolfs, they are just Kroot riding wolves.
