Khorne is Red, Nurgle is Green, Tzeentch is Blue and Slaanesh is Pink. We all know this, but it's a little limited, isn't it?

What other color scheme could you use for each Mark of Chaos? For example, I like Slaanesh but I don't like the pink, but I still want them to look "Slaaneshy". How would you do it? I'm having the same issues with my Nurgle army, it's all so... green.

Feel free to post pictures of your army schemes.

For Slaanesh, use purples, flesh tones, black/greys. Maybe some lighter reds.

For Nurgle, yellows, browns, oranges.

Khorne, try black/greys, oranges. Its harder for Khorne I confess.

For Tzeentch, pretty much anything goes. Blue, pink, green, yellow, orange, red, purple you name it. As long as it vibrant.

Personally, I would add gold to Slaanesh, White and red for nurgle (white for bone, and being the death guard's original colour. Red for open sores/wounds).
Tzeentch shoul not be afraid of the darker colours. As long as the scheme seems warped in some way, there shouldn't be a problem

Khorne's colours are blood, bone, brass and black... not just red. Likewise Tzeentch is the whole spectrum, but mainly pink, blue and orange. Nurgle is anything rotten really, mainly khaki and brown though.

Slaanesh is definitely not just pink, a more fluffy scheme would be a riot of clashing and complimenting colours. Slaanesh also likes pastel colours a lot, especially in contrast with black. Imagine a sea-blue Keeper of Secrets, with blazing crimson claws. That would be very Slaanesh. Problem is that these schemes don't translate well onto the models without looking naff, hence the muted purple/white scheme of the studio (which does look quite sinister).

Khorne: Red, Black and Brass.
Slaanesh: Electric blues, pinks, pastels
Tzeentch: Blues, Purple, Yellow, or anything in clashing, contrasting colors, bold patterns, zig-zagging stripes, checkerboard patterns, etc.
Nurgle: Green, Yellow, Brown, anything that evokes the concepts of organic rot.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

There's a rather brilliant looking Plaguebearer in the new Codex that would actually be a much better Slaanesh colour scheme (and indeed, reminds me of Keepers of Secrets). It's white, with blending pink/purple into the recesses only.

Sounds similar to the old (Diaz) daemonetts colour scheme.

I'm not sure what colors to put into the shoulders yet, but does this look Slaanesh to you, for example?

EDIT: Link above seems to be broken. Here's the same one, but I fooled around with the shoulder patterns. Animal print is sexy, right??
