After looking far and wide I turn to Dakka for help.

Having perused the the Net, Dakka threads and modelling source I am about to give up.

Does anybody know where I can get 28mm/heroic scale/1/35/1/48 dumpster models?

I knew I had seen some somewhere...

Atenocities has some

Alternatively they are the kind of thing that you can make quite easily from textured plasticard if you want more straight-edged versions.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

These can work with a little effort.

Size:
4.3125" W (11cm), 6.3125" D (16cm), 3" H (7.5cm)

4.125" W (10.5cm), 5.3125" D (13.6cm), 3.0625" H (7.8cm)

I have seen smaller. If you took one of these, added some battledamage, filled it with 'garbage', I think you would be in good shape for terrain. You could even make tiny garbage bags out of real garbage bags and fill the dumpster up.
