EDIT: Just received PM with dimensions. Expect Work in Progress photos soon!
Hey guys,
In preparation of the rumored new Tau Codex, I have decided to create some Tau fortifications. My plan is make a few Tau bastions and try to pull off a Tau version of the Fortress of Redemption. I want to make sure the dimensions for my custom building are close to the GW kits. That way I can legally use my custom buildings for the same point cost. However, my FLGS does not have any Bastions or FoR. What I am asking from this online community is the measurements of the GW products. I have provided the pictures below with letters to make getting the correct measurement for the correct part of the model easier. I have materials at hand and the concept designs ready to go. Just need some help with the measurements. Thanks for the help guys!

While I don't have either to be more helpful, with the marines in the second image you should be able to extrapolate the size.

Alright, I decided to start small. Before I tackle a Tau version of FoD I decided to build a Tau Bastion in order to gain some practice. So here are some WIP pics. C&C much welcome.

Main material was PVC pipe 4'' diameter

Used index cards to help create the linear design Tau has.

Here is the base with the canopy added to the top. Ignore the fact that Necrons are in Tau bastion. (Closest models to me.)
Spoiler:

Forgot to mention, The dome structures for the canopy are made from tap lights.

Very nice work indeed! No need to spoiler your own pics btw, just means more clicking for us lazy internet folk! Good use of materials to build the bastion, they have worked really well!

Did you get all the dimensions you needed for the project? I have both a bastion and FoR if you need more sizes...

Oh and you may want to look at this guys defense line, very simple but fits the tau aesthetic perfectly! http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/513552.page#5383191

Keep up the good work!
