Personally I don''t find that Inquisitors give much except access to Henchmen, which Coteaz does better, and being a cheap HQ for low point games. Even then, Ordo Malleus is the one taken due to better otions. Personally I wuld like if Inquisitors granted Hatred vs their Ordo speciality, maybe a 6" bubble or just to their unit.

Malleus- Daemons
Hereticus- Chaos Space Marine codex, IG allied to CSM or Daemons
Xenos- Orks, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Necrons, Tyranids, Tau, Kroot, Vespids, Jokaeros.

This way there is more incentive to take a Xenos as he gives Hatred vs many codexes, more to take a Hereticus but less than others, and a bit more specilisation with the Malleus.

This won't be availible to the SC Inquisitors so they don't become even better.

Maybe. To me Hatred makes more sense. PE sort of seems as if the character has information, which does make sense, but Hatred seems like he's shouting for them to be butchered.

I don't know if that makes sense but yeah I suppossed PE would be acceptable alternative, but remember that it affects shooting too. Imagine the ragequit that a Hereticus and Xenos Inquisitor attached to a unit of 4 psycannon Purifiers/Paladins would create. Rerolls of 1 vs all non-Imperials.

I do think Inquisitors are good, mainly because they are much cheaper to their HQ counterparts, and can be customised to be effective, the henchmen option also boots reasons why they should be taken, I always like to invest the points in one if it allows me to save points from other HQs whilst not losing too much effectiveness.

I'm not sure whether it should be PE or Hatred, Inquisitors do HATE what their ordo is, but then again they train to fight against them, so it could be classed as both.

PE would require them to have a bigger cost, hatred being melee only would do better.

It's just to good to have a PE bubble for so cheap.

I'm just thinking that having Hatred would really screw over Daemons if you had 2-4 cheap Malleus Inquistors scattered throughout your army of GK.
