So i recently purchased some ghost tints, and luckily my friend who is very bad at painting asked me if i would paint his new flyer for him. I agreed on the condition that i have total artistic freedom, meaning i pick w/e colors i want This is me experimenting with the colors. I'm essentially trying to recreate an effect done by les @ awesome paintjob... heres what i have so far

stage 1 prime black

i have to wait for the ghost tints to dry before i continue with a 3rd and final white highlighting layer. Then i'll figure out what i'm going to do to the rest of the model. I must say im quite pleased tho so far, it looks very nice...also sorry I only have a camera on my phone(iphone3gs) and ill take a full round about of pictures, when the model is complete any suggestions or critiques/tips are welcome!

why the spoiler tags?

It just makes the whole thing awkward and you can pretty safely assume people will WANT to see the shots as it doesn't "give away a story"...

i dunno i just assumed it made my first post seem so massive without them... i can take them off if people like i suppose

Ahh nice to see ghost tints in action, I just ordered some. Do they really dry with that much of glossy finnish?

they do honestly dry pretty glossy, part of that gloss tho is from the light above the picture. but yea non the less... the minitaire ghost tints do dry pretty glossy

also i took those pictures like moments after putting the paint o, so it does need to dry because in those pictures its still soaking wet

Very nice work, I love the design... If your friend ever buy's a Riptide you should ask them If you can paint it, It would interesting to see what you come up with.
