Hey all!

Pretty new to the community and after checking out a few threads i figured this is a good place for me to track my progress and also share it at the same time =)

Started off building a Necron wraithwing army 2 months ago (1750) which is a lot of fun to play and plays very well in games. However after seeing almost all necrons painted the same metallic way, i figured id try to switch some colors around and give it my own colorway. Mostly inspired by my motorcycle (please excuse the self plug here )



Most my army is locked up at FLGS atm but I'll be there tomorrow to get photos of the rest of my army to share shortly! (which is WIP btw!)


Please note! the wraiths arent 'finished' and i know the front claws/whipcoils are missing at the moment! I've been meaning to magnetize a few after hearing how easy the whipcoils snap off, so i wanted to be able to replace them if they do. But couldn't resist painting them as i was fed up from putting the models together, needed to get some color!





Then after a few games I remembered that I had 80 zombies previously from fantasy (from over 10 years ago!) and after reading up on some csm nurgle zombie lists I'm going to attempt to add a little horde into my necron wraithwing (Just for fun, lets see what happens!)




And here's two that i quickly tested just to mess around. (snapped these with my desklamp so colors aren't showing as well)

So this is what I've been working on at home so far! Hope you guys like them.

Looking great. Is there a reason players seem to be running Necron + CSM allies? I wish I had zombie models just stashed away somewhere for me to find. Sadly though, I don't :(

Not sure about others, but my list felt like it needed better ways to secure objectives. Plus who doesn't want to build a zombie horde! =p

Tiny update, got some circular bases. dry brushed/washed skin and some basic base colors so far. Feels better already with just a little bit of color. Must.. paint.. more!

Took my zombies out for a whirl. made a big mistake by starting them in cover. which basically kept them stuck almost the entire game since they cant run.

Making slow progress. Been focusing more on playing games and tweaking the list than painting to be honest!
