Yes i know that magnets are good, But the new broadsides look like a pain to magnitize.
So i was wondering, How is Blu-tac for holding things on?

Maybe there's some other variety of blu-tac out there besides the ones that I've used, but the couple I've tried are nowhere near strong enough to keep a model together during play. I currently use an orange flavor of the stuff to test out poses before gluing and it's pretty fragile. Lightly touching the relevant part is likely to dislodge the piece. It also messes with alignment of the parts since you need an appreciable thickness of it to actually hold two pieces together.

I don't know exactly how the Broadside model assembles or where you'd put the tac. If there's space where you can put a substantial blob of tac without it being visible and if the attached part won't be handled directly, it might work OK. But I'd think magnetizing is going to be worth the trouble.

Blue tac isn't a long term solution. It works well for a little while, planning and quick fixes but tends to lose adhesion after a while.

It'll keep the doors on a rhino during a game but not anything that actually requires it to support weight.

YMMV though but magnets are a better more sturdy solution.
