This is the first time ive ever painted anything, even tho i had a decent collection of random stuff from different armies back in 2001.

Just never got around to painting anything.

I still need to do some highlights and the bases but i was going to wait to do the bases once the rest of the unit was finished.

The unit was already put together back in 2001 but unpainted so i didnt bother to remove the mold lines if i was putting them together now tho i would of removed the lines and will clean up special or single units i have from back then or if i get any new warriors ill make sure they are cleaned up before assembly. but i just didnt feel like doing it with these old warriors since i wasnt even sure if i would just be butchering them with paint.

I figured if i was going to mark the unit id do it on the banner so its got some blue for Tzeentch

The one on the right in the first pic is the aspiring champion, hes the only one with the spik eon his helm that has a red skull and on his right shoulder he has a big red skull.

They look good, nice and clean job. Once you get the bases finished, they will really pop.

Looks great! Some highlights on the red would look good.

I use the same color scheme on my Iron Warriors; it looks really good.

impressive for a first attempt...you have a lot of potential. From here it's just a matter of looking up tutorials and working new techniques!

This is your first attempt? Took me 2 years of practice to paint at this level! Keep at it

I notice my posts seem to bring threads to a screeching halt. Considering the content of most threads on dakka, you're welcome.

Wow thats a pretty good job for a first timer. Good use of colors and shading.

It is the way of Fenris. We stay as long as we can. Fight as hard as we can. Kill as much as we can. Only when we can do no more do we move on.

Sometimes you gotta roll the hard six!
