Wow, that mini looks great so far
I'd say maybe a wee bit of rust on the spikes, but thats a great green, and the skin looks ace!

I like it, the green and gold go well together, although i'm not too keen on the thickness of the outer band of green on the right arm. (Picture Two) The rest of the skin looks good though.

On the front armour plate of the right arm, the area of dark green around the edge of the plate, with light green in the middle. It's only a little thing, but I think it would look better if there was slightly more light green and slightly less dark green.

Ah, well, I prefer my models to be fairly dark, you know, to fit in with all the gridmark of 40k....
And plus, if youre concerned its too dark, i still have and extra tier of highlight to go.

It's not that it's too dark, I like the colours, it's just that, compared to the other plates, that one seemed to have a thicker area of dark green, although it may just be the camera angle.

Love it! Screams nurgle to me, but you've done an ace job making it look nurgley, without making it look sloppy.

Okay, i need to paint another one of these after i am done, and i need a color scheme that will still tie him into the rest of the army, without having, well, 2 carbon copies of the same model. I was thinking reversing the colour scheme of the armor, to have brass as the main and the green as the edging, thoughts?

Hmm, i'm not sure if it would look good brass skin. Perhaps keep the brass the same, but use a different shade for the skin. Perhaps more rotten-yellow or go for a darker overall shade of green?

Pose them differently, and use either darker or lighter highlights, as in....start dipping into yellows or start with a scorched brown....my vote goes to lighter....
You can also add some disease detail in the form of boils and such, that always adds flavor and looks nurgley

The problem is there is only 1 pose for the models, and it isnt the easiest thing to re-position. Automatically Appended Next Post: Some more stuff done.
