So this should be easy to answer but not sure if it's in the wiki. So active model A does a short move skill which doesn't trigger any AROs, for his second skill he moves again and steps into model B's LOF. Model B decides on an ARO of shoot. Is this a normal roll for Model B? or does Model A's second short skill of move count as a sorta dodge, making it a F2F roll?

Moving into LOF with your second short skill is bad ... It would be a normal roll for the model gaining an ARO to the second move. Basically its a free shot for the ARO and the active player has no way to oppose it. :|

You have to declare that it's a dodge for the second short skill. If you declare it's just a move you can do nothing.

Dodge would have done nothing as his second action.
It was the second MOVE that brought him into LoF of the enemy model - he wasn't in LoF with the first one. If he had declared 'Dodge', he would NOT have moved into LoF, so no shoot ARO would have been made against him.

Dodge only grants movement in REACTIVE (where it's half your first mov value). In ACTIVE, it grants NO movement at all.

But yes, doing a move-move order where people can shoot at you is bad. Unless it's at over 24" and you have ODD or TO camo. Then it's just iffy.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
