Hello everyone.

I am a new face here. I have been a fan of war gaming for a few years now, since I left uni in 2001 and found some money of my own to spend. I got into it by reading the Warhammer 40K novels and then I bought my first Leman Russ Demolisher and it turned out great (still my favourite). I lean more towards painting and converting than actually playing the game. My favourite armies are the Imperial Guard and the Orks, but I do have a tender spot in my heart for Chaos Space Marines and the Warhammer Ogre Kingdoms as well.

Most of the models I can get easy access to are 40K but I am always on the look out for something else to work now, devote some time and paint to before putting it on my bookcase.

Often when I was looking for inspiration or advice to convert or paint I came here to browse the many wonderful images of the works in progress and finished pieces I found here. While I am strictly a spare time/when I am in the mood for it- modeller I have been inspired so much over the years I felt I was in a position to start giving a bit back.
