On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Hey guys,

Just something I thought I would put out to see people's thoughts (and away from the 'terrain' thread where any discussion is lost quickly). Up until this point I've made a fair amount of terrain, but the priority has always been on creating LOS blocking terrain and filling a table quickly - the inside of my buildings have been 'no go' areas, with the lids kept in place and miniature running around on the roof to represent them being inside.

However for my next board I have less buildings, and already that bank of terrain to use, so I'm thinking of interior decorations this time around - think the new Spartan kits as a kind of mercenary base, with corridors with little signs on the walls (fire extinguishers?), a barracks, mess hall, medical bay etc. Or even more simple things like a garage with work bench (and centre-fold posters on the wall of course!)

So.. is this something that many others have done, and do you have photos of it? Is this a sign I should be making dolls houses instead?

Severely tempted to make a big order with Antenocitis and go mental with the interiors, although I'm conscious of what a time sink such an endeavour will be..

I'm looking to go a similar route with my table bud, lots of interiors. Still looking for ideas myself though so not much to add. Funny you mention it being like doll houses, I was thinking there must be some 28mm doll house manufacturers out there to plunder...

By the looks of the buildings in your gallery, you're using Sarissa Precision buildings which are awesome. The Antenocitis Workshop stuff is pretty good, I'm already using the Intercomms as access panels for my Sarissa buildings. The Advertising Screens and various tables look pretty good as well.

As for other offering I've just ordered some stuff from Ainsty Castings, notably the Vending Machines, both types of Stacked Boxes, the Skips and the Shelving Units. While the sculpts themselves aren't anything special they don't really need to be due to what they are and the prices are very reasonable for the amount you get.
