hello.

I've altered your title a little bit and am going to move this thread to the RPG section.

I'm sure somebody will be able to help you out.

Honestly "Best" lores are dependent on the kind of campaign you would be playing in.

I recommend asking your GM what lores he recommends you take, simply because as an adept you would not be with your unit unless you had knowledge they could use.

When all else fails, broad topics such as cults, heretics, mutants and such are good options when starting.

Is there a PC or NPC Inquisitor leading the group? If so, what Ordo is he/she a member of? That will generally tell you what kinds of things you can expect to run into, and thus tell you what skills you should buy.

If you're working for an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, take Forbidden Lore: Xeno, Speak Xeno Language (like Tau or Eldar, ones you can conceivably learn in the Imperium), and the range of Common Lore skills, like Imperium, Ecclesiarchy, Legens, War, etc.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.
