Hello lads!

As I will be probably moving to the US of A in a short time for work. Long story short, I was offered a new position at Wheeling, Illinois in my company, and I am seriously considering it. I will be probably move with my girlfriend and assorted stuff, including Wargaming goodies. The problem is I will be probably living in, or near, Wheeling, which is a little town with about 34000 inhabitants. If I want to get my wargaming fix where will I have to go?

Is there by any chance, somebody from Wheeling or nearby which can recommend me some wargaming places where I can get gaming fix. If not, someplaces in Chicago would also be nice to know.

Thanks for the help, I will appreciate it greatly

I am currently in the same situation and from what I've been seeing from the White Dwarf and Games Workshop site there are a lot including a lot of GW stores including the Chicago Bunker.

I am not 100% sure yet, I am currently operating in the Med on a ship and wont actually make my way there until October/November.

For a variety of wargames, I would recommend Games Plus in Mount Prospect, ~7 miles south of Wheeling. Send me message when you get to Wheeling, I would be happy to meet up sometime.

For just GW games, the Bunker is in Downers Grove and there are a handful of GW stores around the suburbs (Palatine, Algoquin, etc.).

In the meantime, if anyone else wants to meet up for a game, send me a message.

Get it painted up though. It's a scientific fact that unpainted models die quicker than painted one's.

Games Plus is the cream of the crop when it comes to gaming stores, been there for 30+ years and has people that play just about anything
