my name is Anthony and Ive been painting for just a few months now. I first tried way back when I was 13 but didn't have the patience or access to the internet so that didn't go very far. ive tried off and on again since then but now ive really put myself into it. im learning all the time, but im really looking to get some advice from some people who know what theyre doing. I plan on creating my own blog where I will show what im working on, and I hope that some of you will be kind enough to share some tips of the trade. and that brings me to my first question. how do I create a thread on this website? I see the thread tools button but haven't found anything that says create new thread. a little help would be great. thanks you guys and looking forward to reading what you've got to say.

Go to "Forum" in the upper left, select the subforum that best relates to your new thread (For instance choose "Painting and modeing" if you want to have a thread where you show your painting progress).

Once you selected your forum click the "New topic" button in the upper left.

Pretty much the same for what you did to make an introduction thread.
