So I found this picture the other day, kind of looking around to see what would be good to get up to 300 pts since I am relatively new to Infinity and need some sort of direction at first. I already ordered the Trauma doc, so I want to know if anything else on here is good to get or should I try and go for other things to get up to 300?

I don't recommend starting at 300, to start with.

Start at 150 or so, just "starter box level" and get used to the rules interactions and orders. Then go up in 50pt chunks.

Bringing a TAG to a beginner level game is going to lose you friends and probably kill the game in your area if you are all starting out.

Ah alright, I guess that is a fair assumption. Well it is not as much as starting up with 300, more of build up to it to get to a starting 300 pts list later on. Sorry for not being so clear on it, and I think I am not being all too clear on that as well. Also, I think staying at 150 might be the best bet for now to learn the game a bit better.

Oh, it's a good deal - unless you decide to go sectorial.

Then, you might not get the best use out of the akals or the Cutter (I play mostly Neoterra, for example, and they can't use either. We do get other TAGs though, and can field multiples if the points allow it).

Alright, I will have to keep that in mind, although the list I made up a while ago:

Fusilier Lieutenant
3 Fusiliers (Combi-rifles)
ORC Trooper (multi-rifle)
Croc Man (Combi-rifle)
Trauma Doc
Akali commando (Combi-rifle)

That is about 150 on the spot. Not sure it may be the best list but it is something.

Try to get at least some interesting weapon in there. HMG, multisniper, whatever. 7 orders will do at 150.

As to the 300 pts pic: don't. 2 AD dudes and a TO tag are cool but a rather specific choice - not something I think you'd want to play time and again and against other beginners probably a good way to scare them away from infinity.
Either jotum or dragoe are better general purpose tags to have fun with and frankly both ad and to should be relegated to the sidelines for your first few games.
Get some cheerleaders (fusilliers or acon regs, depending on your persuasion; if nothing else the regs are vastly better models ), some fun HI ((guarda de assaulto is really nice, the smoke aux gives you something to tactfully use! Aquila guard is nice too as soon as folks start fielding CH stuff against you ) and a support pack.

After that a more general purpose tag is an option but perhaps a remote or two would be a better way to ease into it. Depends on your budget though, They are relatively expensive.
OTOH, they're also some of the best models in the range (if frustratingly tricky to assemble at times and finnicky as hell).
Regardless, at least get palbots with your doc/eng. Worth it every time

Think so, too. I would not start fielding a Cutter and two Akal for the first 300 point lists. If you have no plans going sectorial for now go for some special weapons, a hacker and some tech stuff like visors and so on. This will give you a lot of oportunities. The Cutter is a monster, for beginners it will be a nightmare to fight against because it´s a TAG with TO. It can be very frustrating and you could also rely on him too much. I use one but not often.

As a huge fan of Lost, the Aconticemento Regulars keep making me consider making a Shock Army force.

That's probably why I don't like them.

I hated lost.

It's a bit hard to not see Kate, Jack, Sawyer and Locke when you look at the regulars.

I liked that show and even I have begun to not see them as the cast of LOST anymore.

Give it another year or so, and most people will say "Who?" about them.

Especially considering how badly that show ended.
