Well first of all it's an illegal list. Your allied units are an illegal choice and you can't include a Baneblade in non-Apocalypse games.

As for the legal parts, it's pretty weak. You have almost nothing that can take out AV14, which unless you're going up against Dark Eldar a lot, you're going to encounter at 2.5k levels.

1: Drop the Voxes and Power Weapons on the normal squads, change the Grenade Launchers to Melta or Plasma, and ditch the Autocannons seeing as your squads are likely to be pretty mobile. Grenadiers is also pretty expensive.

2: Heavy Weapon Squads are generally seen as too expensive for what they do.

3: Buy some Chimeras for your Veteran squads with the points saved from ditching Grenadiers.

4: Get rid of the Plasma and Lascannons from the Demolisher since they'll be Snap-Firing most of the time.

5: I'm assuming your Storm Troopers are armed that way because of the models you have. Either way, you won't be getting anything out of them that you can't get with 5 guys and 2 Plasma Guns.

6: You also only have 1 Infantry Squad in the Platoon. You have to have 2 minimum.

Really, it's a very mish-mashed list. First thing to do would be to fix the illegal options, then work on the above points.

Also, as a quick point, if you're using the NATO phonetic alphabet for naming squads, B should be Bravo, not Beta.

I prefer beta

I only have these models so need to work with what I have, will work on legalising it as you say, so I have to add a second platoon company command squad right?

Well then it just sounds odd having Beta instead of Bravo.

You need a second Infantry Squad: another 10 Guardsmen.

Cool, sorted! Thanks for your help, I like the sit back and shoot approach for now, and yes baneblade, tbh if someone says no to it, they're probs not worth having a game with as it's for fun. Reduced to 1999pts as well now, removed deathwatch.

Sorry but that's a stupid argument, saying "I can use whatever units I want. If you say no to that you're a terrible player". You're still constrained to the units available in the Codex, you're not free to add other things under the pretense of casual play.

Have made simple swaps, added in a second ccs and removed the deathwatch to make it legal

Nope, Apoc is 3000 points, and so far you haven't edited the original list at all.

Where exactly are you getting the Deathwatch from? No such rules for them exist in the current edition.

If it is Apoc (which you should have specified earlier), then you don't need to abide by any FOC.

If it is not Apoc, then no Superheavies. Most games aren't Apoc, so make sure to agree with your opponent before playing.
