So, I was working on making my first cloak today using green stuff.
I'd read and seen that you're supposed to use something to prevent your fingers and tools from sticking. Water was "ok" to use, as was spit and Vaseline. A few people also recommended using "cooking oil".
I figured I'd give that a try.
Um....yeah....
I put a tiny amount of oil on my finger tip to start smoothing out some lines. A bit got onto the model (primed black).....a few minutes later...the black primer was coming off! I have bare spots of plastic due to this freaking vegetable oil!!
So...yeah...I won't be doing anything with him tonight, as I let the oil dissipate/dry up...lol.

Erm.probably a stupid question, but... Was the primer fully cured? Vegetable oil should not strip paint.

Yummy.. But how can monsanto be bad, breeding plant strains resistant to glyphosphate, not to mention keeping bee populations at tolerable levels, nobody likes getting stung.

Bee populations are actually getting lower and lower, Monsanto is ruining both nature and the honey industry. If you see a bee, don't kill it unless it actually tries to sting you (like buzzing near your EXPOSED skin), since if it does sting you it'll die later.
Anything made by Monsanto is pretty much evil.

Pretty much this. Think of any shady evil multinational corporation you've ever seen in a movie/tv show and Monsanto is pretty much that. Only real. They have the monopoly on GM food patents, they charge excessive amounts for the rights to use those patents, the list goes on. Look them up and do a bit of digging and you'll find they aren't a nice company to deal with. Not by any stretch.
