so i have been playing my grey knights again and there is a upcoming tourny for 1750. i have been having success with this list but it seems to be missing something
all CC is welcomed if you do not like something in the list please tell me why or what would work better. I can buy any models that i need. I also have some really sweet OOP models for this army.

1750 GK list

HQ- Grand master Mordrak =360
4x Ghost knights

Troops- termies x 5/ Psybolt ammo/ 1x psycannon/ 2x Halberds/1x DH=245
Troops- termies x 5/ Psybolt ammo/ 1x psycannon/ 2x Halberds/1x DH=245
Troops- SS x5 psycannon=110

Fast- Interceptor's x5 with incinerator=150

Heavy- Nemesis Dreadknight- Heavys incinerator, Gatling Psilencer, and Personal teleporter=270
Heavy- Nemesis Dreadknight- Heavys incinerator, Gatling Psilencer, and Personal teleporter=270

fortification- agies with quad gun

i put the SS on the gun , Mordrak and his ghost's DS were the rest of my army will teleport to. The 2 N Knights and interceptors teleport near hordes or bunched up infantry and roast them to take out a good chunk of enemy units first turn and throwing threats into my opponent. the termies march up and shoot or go to objectives and camp. so my opponent has several things to deal with right off the bat.

that is basically how i run them. something just does not feel right out of the 6 games ive played ive had 5 wins and a tie which was very bad dice rolls on both sides.
feel free to leave cc and comments thanks for any help

Ive run a nearly identical list with great success. My major differences were two-fold: i used 1 big squad of termies instead of 2 small units, and i brought a divination inquisitor with a psycannon attached to the termies for twin-linked sickness.

That being said, it sounds like youre kicking tail with what you have. If it aint broke, dont fix it?

divination inquisitor with a psycannon does sound fun but than again i would loose the 4 bodies of dead people lol i might try it out with termies in one squad thanks for the advice

I second homeskillet on using the terminators in a big squad instead of 2 small squads. You can combat squad if you need to anyways, plus, it actually makes psybolt worth it.

Because psybolt is per squad and not per model, you only want to take it for 10 man units, nothing else. However, by simply running the terminators ten strong and combat squadding, you only pay for psybolt once. You have the same effect in game, but saves points before.

The gatling psilencers are okay on paper, but a bunch of S4 Ap- shots just wont do that much. On average, you net 1-2 MEQ or 2-3 GEQ dead. Not bad, but it is rather expensive for the cost. Now, if your meta is deamon heavy and since you will be in a tournament these can be very good particularly against MC spam deamons. I would drop these to try and get a psyker inquisitor or some more GKSS, or something.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

The list would struggle against a heavy flier list like crons.

in my area no one really spams flyers and the people coming out of town that i know of, also dont spam flyers. LOL but if it happens than a good hand shake is indeed in order lol

No Mordrak? Noooooooo! Just kidding, looks like a tough list.

For Anti-air, I'd disagree that you'll have problems. You have a quad gun, and you can prescience the stormbolters and psycannons. That's two dead flyers per turn, typically.

Unless somebody does something crazy like shoot the quad gun and also he hasn't gotten any prescience for the psycans so maybe a dead flier a turn.

Sure he does. Divination Inquisitor takes Prescience, joins the 10 man squad. However, taking out the quad gun would definitely suck. However, if they concentrate big guns on that, that just means the Termies are moving up the field unmolested. So, take the good with the bad, I guess.

a quad gun will not statistically take down a flyer a turn...

I don't think you need greatswords on the DKs. Instead, maybe take another Psycannon in the SSquad, and maybe a halberd on the justicar. If you could find 5 points a Daemonhammer might make sense in there too.

Combat squad the SSquad so that both psycannons are in one, both special weapons in the other. Halberd makes most challenges easy, while the daemon hammer allows the squad to destroy armor or MCs if needed.
