Hi all!

I'm working on a list to go up against CSM at the 1850 pt level. I'm trying to ignore the Flying Circus builds.

Let me know what you think!

HQ 1 (290pts)
Bloodthirster
-2 Greater Rewards

HQ 2 (575pts)
Herald of Slaanesh
-Exalted Reward
-Locus of Beguilement
-Psyker Level 2
-Steed

Herald of Tzeentch
-Exalted Reward
-Psyker Level 2
-Disc

Karanak

Skulltaker
-Juggernaut

Elite 1 (215pts)
Bloodcrushers x4
-Bloodhunter
--Lesser Reward
-Icon of Chaos
-Instrument of Chaos

Troop 1 (90pts)
Daemonettes

Troop 2 (90pts)
Plaguebearers

Fast Attack 1 (150pts)
Screamers of Tzeentch x6

Fast Attack 2 (205pts)
Seekers of Slaanesh x15
-Heartseeker
-Icon of Chaos
-Instrument of Chaos

Heavy Support (165pts)
Soul Grinder
-Baleful Torrent
-Daemon of Slaanesh

Fortification (70pts)
Aegis Defense Line
-Comms Relay

Other notes:
I've thought of perhaps trading in the Bloodthirster for a GUO with ML 2, 2x Greater Rewards, or chucking the Soul Grinder in favor of 10 Fleshhounds.
On the other hand, swapping the Tzeentchians with a Skull Cannon and adding a few more seekers might help some...

----------------------------------- Post Mortem -----------------------------------

In the end, I swapped up the list a bit:

HQ1
Lord of Change - Greater, Greater, Lesser, ML 3

HQ2
Herald of Khorne - Exalted, Wrath, Juggernaut
Herald of Slaanesh - Greater, Lesser, Beguilement, ML 2, Steed
Herald of Tzeentch - Exalted, ML 3, Disc

Troop1
Daemonettes x10

Troop2
Daemonettes x10

Fast Attack 1
Flesh Hounds x 15

Fast Attack 2
Screamers of Tzeentch x 6

Fast Attack 3
Seekers of Slaanesh x15 - Heartseeker, Icon, Rapturous Standard

Heavy Support 1
Skull Cannon

Heavy Support 2
Soul Grinder - Daemon of Slaanesh, Phlegm

Randomly generated stuff (If interested):
Warlord: LoC
Warlord Trait: Death Incarnate
LoC LR: Staff of Change
LoC GR1: Daemonic Resilience
LoC GR2: Unbreakable Hide
LoC P1: Precognition
LoC P2: Misfortune
LoC P3: Bolt of Change
HoK ER: Doubly Blessed (Unholy Frenzy, Etherblade)
HoK Locus: Wrath
HoS LR: Witstealer Sword
HoS GR: Touch of Uncreation
HoS P1: Invisibility
HoS P2: Hallucination
HoT ER: Grimoire of True Names
HoT P1: Bolt of Change
HoS Locus: Beguilement
HoT P2: Misfortune
HoT P3: Prescience

The random rolls took forever to compile all the rules and I kept forgetting that the LoC had a 3+ Armour Save and kept buffing it with the Grimoire instead of the Hounds or the Screamers.
The game ended up really fun, I was up against Plague Marines, Nurgle Bikers, Tau Fire Warriors camping an Aegis and a Heldrake.
The LoC took 4 full turns of shooting from everything and kept tanking through.
The HoK jumped in with the Flesh Hounds and tied up 6 Nurgle Bikers, 3 Obliterators, 6 Plague Marines+Champion, and Nurgle Lord of Chaos on a Bike for 3 turns thanks to the requirement to challenge. The Herald would have taken it to 4 if not for Soul Blaze from the Warlord Trait.
The HoT and the LoC took out 3 Broadsides and the remaining 4 Shield drones ran off the table.
The Soul Grinder and Skull Cannon really just sat there and took pot shots, I should have been moving them up during the game.
The Seekers outflanked a turn late and into Plague Marines... And then proceeded to do nothing. Three turns of attacks and I got a single six, not their best day.
In the end, he had First Blood and Slay the Warlord, I had Line Breaker, we both held our Emperor's Will objectives and he managed to contest the Crusade objectives.
Meh rolls, bad decisions on both sides and random rolls had both of us wondering if we should keep going at times.

In the future, I might swap out the Slaanesh units for a DP, perhaps an extra screamer or two and try again.
