A mastery level 33 DP? Wow man... The warp is coooool
The list seems legit, don't think you can give fateweaver rewards though...

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS.

Yeah, Fateweaver can't take rewards.

What are your plans for the Daemon Princes? I'm assuming Slaanesh are Lash and Iron Arm? What about Tzeentch?

Tzeentch will fly around and flickering fire if tzeentch things and assault when times are right.

Didn't know about Fateweaver not taking reward. In that case I'll give the slaanesh one a greater for lash and exalted for grimoire. Maybe put the portal glyph on the keeper of secrets. That, or I could just bring a decked out lord of change...

Hmm, looking at it at a glance, it looks like you are 220 pts short on the list, unless you are taking Wings and armour on the 3 DPs, and even then you are 40 pts under...
Are you leaving your KoS with ML1 or are you going to try bumping him up to 2 or 3?

On a similar note, if you are swapping Kairos for a LoC, you have 20pts of leeway (if you don't give it ML 3, I'm assuming you are using GGL for the rewards?). Personally, if I plan to run with the Grimoire, I usually run FW, his re-rolls are invaluable.

Wow can't believe I forgot too add that in! All dps are taking armor and wings. This is a basic core as for bumping up the keepers ml is it worth it? Excess discipline seems terrible and I'm not sure how good telepathy is

Telepathy can be extremely digusting, unless the enemies are full of mecha, in which case...poo...

Agreed, against Meq Telepathy is horrible, but with the right powers, it can be downright game breaking.

As a request, could you update/edit your opening post with your current list of rewards and gifts?

There's a lot of points invested into those big monsters. I would ditch the Keeper and take the Slaanesh Princes as a HQ choice, there's no need for the Keeper in this list just to make a single Prince heavy support.

Also you do not want Fateweaver in close combat, he is dire, he like a single attack. Fateweaver buffs units and shoots. Fatey won't be able to shoot if in close combat.

On a similar note, the Seekers will have to survive a round of shooting before they are able to get into combat. Without having assault grenades to boot, I don't think running them in squads of less than 15 without a K'Cannon is feasible.

I never intended nor said fatey will get into combat. Also, it's really easy to say x unit will just get shot up, but when you have 5 mcs daemonetts, and seekers that's allot if threats. They're not all going to get shot at and if they do that's the opponent splitting a lot of fire and won't do much to my fmcs. Even if the seekers are a 120 point decoy they're still good.

As for the keeper he's extremely fast fir not having wings! Fleet and run d6 +3 " is fast. He's another threat that's very cheap and as a bonus makes a slaanesh prince heavy and grants me a fifth mc.

If you're keeping the Keeper, I would swap gifts with the other Tzeentch/Slaanesh Prince. Being on the ground, and higher chance of getting hit, you'll want the two greater gifts on it. 3+ Armor, 4+ Feel No Pain, or even +1 Wound and IWND will help it.

The main reason I was taking the gifts on the tzeentch ones that way was for the Str 8 staff. You're right though, I should swap those gifts.

10 daemonettes is just a blood smear on the table. Even a round of shooting from cultists would put enough hurt on them to make them ineffective vs just about everything, and they are fragile enough that you don't want them holding objectives all game. Either swap them with more bearers, or find a way to put more of them in the unit.

The daeMonettes are mainly there as a distraction and a threat. If they're getting shot at then my big baddies are not. And if they're left alone then they can camp a mid field or even enemy objective.

The thing is that weak guns won't be the ones shot at the MC when something so squishy is around. Why shoot your 12 bolter shots into a T6+ 3+ with your tac squad when you could just take out a troop choice with it? Unless they are trying to ground you first for the big guns to pick them off that is.

You couldn't be more.incorrect. The way people deal.with fmcs is shear volume of fire with their "weak" guns to ground them. Then once grounded, they shoot the stronger guns.

Which is why I said unless they are trying to ground you.

They probably have at least 2 dedicated tank killing units in their list (unless they are crons, but they cheat ). After the quad gun and squad with it shoot at your fmc, you could go down first test. Suddenly, they don't have to shoot you with all those little guns. What is more effective for them to shoot? How about that GEQ unit that walked up to them?

With Fateweaver you're not going too fail your first grounding test. And the way I see it, if they're shooting daemonetts instead of daemon princes... That's a win

Pretty sure you did say that or else I wouldn't have mentioned it. You have since editted your post, but you did say about Fatey flying around shooting then will drop down for close combat.

The Keeper needs terrain to survive, really, and invisibility. You will get bogged down in terrain more than likely. If in open ground then the Keeper has a prospective move of 15" though average is more likely to be 13".
