I recently moved several boxes full of GI Joes out of my parent's garage. I have a bunch of vehicals (which I am eyeing up for their conversion value) and a ton of figures (all circa 1984 -1994). Most were played with pretty heavily when I was a kid, but some aren't in bad shape. Do they have any collectors Value? In other words is it worth my time and effort to try and sell them individually, or should I just put the entire content up on Craigslist (after cherry picking a couple to convert for guard)?

Unless they are rare, complete, and with the card (preferably on the card) not that much.
A mint, carded UK snake eyes is on eBay at the moment for £375.
A used loose one for £0.99.

If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

For the ones in good shape, yes, there is a market, especially for the mid to late Eighties ones. Collectors do like them MOC, but there are many who collect loose complete figures as well.

I have a ton of loose guys and bits, I don't even think I could put the right accessories to the right character.

I have Srg. Slaughter and his Warthhog, I have the combat platform platform from the 80's. of course and old snakes eye and his timber wolf. Half of my stuff is British Action Force, the other half is Amwrican GI Joe. I have the huge Hovercraft (thing is badass).

Unfortunately due to the condition it's probably not worth the time to seperate and parcel it all out. I'll probably just try to sell the lot to someone locally. Or perhaps give a bunch of it to one of my neighbors sons. I doubt my daughter will want to play with it.

If you have the time and want to try and maximize any sales be sure to check out the figure gallery at YoJoe.com. That site has a great gallery featuring all of the accessories for both the figures and vehicles.

Job lots sell for surprising amounts on eBay, so I'd look there before deciding what you want to do with your Joes. It sounds like you have stuff from '84 to '89 if you have a WHALE hovercraft and Slaughter's Warthog, so you are right in the sweet spot of Joe collector's territory.

Thanks for the tip on the site. I'm probably gonna need an entire weekend to go through the webste and bits I probably have a couple pieces that are worth selling separately.
