Remove the points costs for upgrades from your list. It is against the forum rules.

Knowing the standard opinion (and that's all it is) on what is good/bad and conforming to that opinion religiously are two entirely separate things. |

Lumbering Behemoth basically no longer exists and all Russes are counted as Heavy instead. So, if you fire an Ordnance gun, all of your other weapons will be firing snapshots.
And about the rest of your list, you're taking a lot of unnecessary upgrades. Drop the extra armour on the Russes, all the extra upgrades on the Battle Tanks (and the Stubber), Vox Casters, and Medi-Packs.
Normally I'd say you should drop all of your melee upgrades, but I'm guessing you use the platoon to blob around your vehicles? Even then, you should still drop the priest. You never want to be charging as Imperial Guard. Why would you ever want to receive over watch instead of firing it?
Your Veterans need to take all three of the same special weapon, otherwise each round of shooting two of your guns are wasted.
Drop at least one HWS and give your Infantry Squads Lascannons. Infantry Squads are much better carriers for heavy weapons. A HWS will take a morale check from 1 casualty, and are easily instant deathed.
I'd give your Platoon Command Squad a Chimera and four special weapons of your choice.
Lastly, your Russes shouldn't be all in the same squadron. You have three Heavy Support slots, use them.

Thanks! that's a lot of rework required. so should I remove the sponsons on the russes then? I'm still getting used snap firing. And my PCS was supposed to counter assault, but I see your point. I'll be up a while re-tooling this list.

A PCS with x4 Flamers in a Chimera is an amazing counter assault unit. Your squad gets assaulted, and you get to fire overwatch out of the transport. After it's wrecked you get to shoot the flamers normally. Then, if you're enemy is still alive and hasn't learned his lesson yet, you fire overwatch again.

And to rewrite your list for sane people...
CCS - Medic, Standard, Vox, 1x plasma, powerfist
- chimera
Priest - eviscerator
Vets - 3x plasma, grenadiers, fist
- chimera
Vets - Vox, melta, plasma, flamer, plasma pistol, power weapon
- chimera
LRBT - lascannon, heavy bolters
LRBT - lascannon, heavy bolters, EA
Executoner - lascannon, plasmas, EA, stubber, pask
PCS - medic, platoon standard, vox, plasma pistol, power weapon, commissar with fist.
PIS - flamer, plasma pistol, power weapon
PIS - flamer, power weapon
HWS - lascannons
HWS - lascannons
... okay, it's readable now.
Firstly, split up the squad of russes into three russes. Not much point to keeping them together. Secondly, foot guard and CC is no more. I'd highly recommend ditching all of those power wepaons (and the PCS commissar with the fist entirely). Keep the powerfist on the SO and the eviscerator priest if you want, but the rest is likely only to get killed before it attacks. Strip away the vox net (especially curious on that one mechvet squad as you can't receive orders while embarked), and, as mentioned, roll those snapfirepalooza LRBTs over to vanquishers. If you dump EA on the tanks and grenadiers on the vets, and all the other junk and you have 295 points to spend.
Upgrade those russes to vanqs, make the non-plasma vet squad a squad of 3x melta, give 2 more plasma guns to the CCS, and a lascannon to the PCS, and one to both PISs, and upgrade the sponson heavy bolters to at least multimeltas and you've got a lot more killing power in your list, and you still have 175 points left to spend.
That could be another russ. That could also be spent turning your troops choices into just mechvets or just infantry platoons, rather than not enough of either. If you really want that CC, then you basically have enough for 3 more eviscerator priests, which will do more in CC than a few power weapons will.

Vets - 3x plasma, grenadiers

Vets - plasma x3 ,plasma pistol

LRV - lascannon, multi meltas

LRV - lascannon, heavy bolters
PCS - platoon standard, plasma pistol,
PIS - flamer,lascannon
PIS - flamer,lascannon
PIS - grenade launcher,lascannon
PIS - grenade launcher,lascannon
PIS - grenade launcher,lascannon
Valkyrie - lascannon, heavy bolters hellstrike

Sure.
So, firstly, what are the valkyries for? If you just want fire support, a vendetta generally does better. If you want an aerial transport, then ditch the chimeras for the vets.
Secondly, you're spending a LOT of points on troops. That's bad in 6th edition, where troops don't provide much by means of killing power and aren't even really necessary anymore. If you want to run troops heavy lists, I'd stick to either a foot list or a mech list, and use the spare points for more killing power. Right now, you're taking both, which means that sort of all the support you're getting comes from just a few valkyries and russes.

What would you suggest to replace the troops with? also I had thought I should put the vets into the valks right after I posted the new list.
