I posted my 1750 army list last week after a battle against Necrons and i won
This is a modified version of this for a 2000 pts against chaos space marines (red corsairs) close combat specialist army
I not only beat him i killed everything on the board and captured all 3 primary odjectives that we used in the Big guns never tire

The command squad and 2 hvy wpns squads were in the bastion (next list i wont use the carapace armour for them or the master of ordinance)
Vet squd bastonne was in the vendetta and arrived in turn 2 ( bastonne isnt worth the points i dont think he isnt doing enough to earn his points)
And the blob squad will get another squad and 3 autocannons to use as a cover from close combat attacks i think nice unit that wont run away and when charged will get about 120 lasgun shots , 3xD3 from the flamers and 3 snapshots from the autocannons ;-)
Think that will be a better use of the points saved
Any better ideas for altering my list ??

Well so thing can easily be tweaked and I would suggest dropping bastonne, you could get a whole new CCS with his points.
Your CCS has to sit still because of the MoO, why not drop 2 plasma guns and give them a lascannon so they can start firing turn 1. The lascannon can hurt everything the MoO fires at so they work well together.
HWS, well if they work for you then I suppose they work but as a s6 shot insta kills one of the bases the squad is then forced to take a ld and their ld is only 7, ontop of that they are most likely not going to pass for orders.
Also you said 2 HWS and the CCS occupied the bastion, how? Im pretty sure only one squad would fit uptop and there can only be one squad inside, I dont believe you can have 2 separate units embarked inside, thats like if you had 2 squads in a chimera, you cant. Unless it says otherwise Im pretty sure only 1 squad can be inside.
Also you have a Commissar in your PCS, Im going to ask why? yes they have flamers but just because they are assault weapons doesnt mean you assault, guard sucks in asssault and on top of that its a 5 man squad +the commissar, they most likely will die especially as you are going up against marines and as you will die the turn you assault your opponent gets to get close to you as he consolidates and then gets his turn to do whatever.
Im not sure if you are aware but according to the gw FAQ LRBT's lost lumbering behemoth and are just heavy so you cant move faster than 6" and can fire all weapons. BUT you still have to follow the rules for ordnance which states if you fire an ordnance weapon all other weapons have to snap fire. So your paying 20pts for bs1 bolters. LRBT's and demolishers are best left with no upgrades.
The executioner with pask is a bit odd, usually hes in a vanq or a punisher to really benefit from the bs4. I would maybe recommend trying a vanq with LC/PC. Allows you to hunt armor and when other units get closer or in range you unload the plasma sponsons on them to do more damage.
I would also swap the bastion for a defense line as it will provide more cover for your units that the bastion will. The CCS cant issue orders out of the bastion unless you put them ontop where they will still get the same save as the defense line would grant and then you all of a sudden have given the rest of your army a 4+ cover. Much better choice in my opinion.

Thanks for all the info
I did make a mistake with the bastion , it says max 20 men in but didnt realise i couldnt have 2 squads in there :-(
The commissar was for the inf squads but i miss wrote it he is with the blob squad :-) for moral
The CCS are on the roof of the bastion with the iceris lascannon but the MoO didnt hit sh*t last game the ordinance scattered away every time and orders isnt a problem on the top of the building ;-) but i agree a defence line is better with camo clokes for the +1 cover saves ;-)
The pask tank is good for the plasma scatters as it scatters 1" less with his BS and the +1 i handy for armour pen rolls :-)
The other LRBT shoots 9 snap shot hvy bolters when it moves and it killed 3 teminiators last game , for me thats worth 20pts hahaha

The dead termies is most likely a matter of bad rolling on his part but play a couple of games and see if you like it. I personally am not a fan of spending the points on snap shots.
Also if you are looking at penning vehicles with the executioner you are better off as the vanq has greater range and it compliments the lascannon on hitting higher armor targets. The plasma sponsons just allow it to be more effective against teq/meq units and put more wounds on horde armies. All of its weapons are ap2 so they all will work together.
The defense line is also cheaper than the bastion. The MoO would have better sight to the board and also remember if he has sight you reduce by the minimum which because of his bs4 means he wont scatter terribly.

The main reason i like the executioner is because its a good multi task tank that can wipe out tough troops and tanks alike
I will use the Vanquisher next game as i just bought a new LRBT kit to build so will build it as a Vanquisher
Is it better to add Past to this one or leave him in the Executioner ??
The Agis defence line is here too but needs painting ;-)
